The vacations are coming

It is good practice to take a brief look back at the past year in the last newsletter before the well-deserved vacations arrive everywhere. And of course, we are also sneaking a peek over the summer at what awaits us in the fall…..

Retrospective

The year started with uncertainty in the market. Rising interest rates suddenly made certain construction projects uncertain. Financing for many new purchases in the storage market also came under pressure. In practice, this means for us that the decision speed to award us a contract goes down.

By now, people seem used to the new interest rates and we are seeing projects
still go ahead. Pleasant for us, but especially wise of our customers, as the demand for storage space remains high.

Both trade shows, customer visits and installations took us to all corners of Europe again. From the far west in Iceland to the east in Romania. Each country has its own ideas, needs and implementation when it comes to storage. It’s up to us to make our containers fit in here.

Smart financing

High interest rates make it more difficult to finance our containers. We are therefore actively looking at ways to deal with this creatively. Because we have our own leasing company, we continue to do our best to make the terms as favorable as possible. We are often able to offer our customers lease deals that are below the regular market price.

Build up faster

We now have a long-standing team of experienced builders. As a result, unloading containers and building and setting up container parks takes less and less time. This is also appreciated by our customers. A nice detail is that we can offer construction of our containers at favorable rates.

Speaking of building, we recently completed the construction of two self-storage parks in Sweden and equipped several 1BOX parks in the Netherlands with our Z-Boxes.

Autumn

After the summer period, we are preparing to build new self-storage parks in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Germany, among others.
And, of course, we are looking forward to the FEDESSA fair that will be held in our own Rotterdam in October. Of course, we will keep you informed of the preparations regarding this show.
