A busy time full of projects and innovation

At USC, we are always working on new projects and collaborations. We like to share some recent highlights and look ahead to what’s ahead. In addition to our participation in various trade shows, we also visited companies such as FOX Moving and Janus International Europe.

Another delivery in Mallorca

We look back on a recent delivery at Planet Space in Mallorca, where we built another park. This project is a continuation of previous successes; after restoring roofs last year, the containers have now been delivered with aluminum roofs. This provides additional protection, especially from the salty sea air. Want to know more about the restoration project? Read more about it in this article.

The FEDESSA in Stockholm

The FEDESSA fair in Stockholm was a great success for us with a lot of interest and new contacts. One of the highlights of this event was the external tour of our customer Kontain. The park in Vallentuna, which has already withstood three harsh Swedish winters, showed how reliable and durable our containers are
We were also awarded third place in the sustainability award, a recognition that underlines our commitment to environmentally friendly solutions. Read more about this in this article!

Active in England

Right after FEDESSA, Danny left for England for a week of visits, culminating in the Young Mover conference. This conference is focused on young movers in the industry. Danny had the opportunity to give a presentation on our containers. Among other things, how our specially modified ‘Mover Z-Box’ can now hold standard wooden containers, perfect for the moving industry.

A visit to FOX Moving was also on the schedule. Our new “Mover Z-Box” is designed for the moving business in close connection with self storage. Together with FOX we investigated the integration of ISO standard corner pieces so that the containers can be secured with twistlocks.

This week Jan-Hein and Seth attended the Movers & Storers show in Stoneleigh. Here we showed, among other things, how well our Z-Boxes fit the moving industry. There was good interest in our containers, especially the flatpacked transport and insulation struck a chord with people.

Shows in France and Italy

Last week Maarten attended the CISS in Marseille and this week at the NationalBox in Nantes. As last show of the year we will travel to the AISI in Milan to make new contacts and demonstrate our products. Of course we hope to see you at one of the shows!

The year coming to an end

With the end of 2024 in sight, we are already looking back on a year full of projects and innovations. Despite the troubled world around us, we are proud of the strides we have made. We hope the election results contribute to a more stable 2025. Thank you to all our partners and clients for their trust and cooperation this year. We look forward to a new year full of opportunities and growth!
